For my sister-in-law's birthday, we headed up to the hills for a scrumptious picnic lunch and the best ice cream cake I've ever had (and she made it herself!). We also celebrated Em's b-day since hers is in just a few days.

Great to see you again! You have a beautiful family!! I need to try and convince my hubby to pose for a family picture this year, too. We haven't actually had ANY family pictures taken in THREE years!!! When your kids are only 5 and 7, they change a LOT in three years!
And that cake looks and sounds AMAZING!!! Um, could you ask your sister if you're allowed to share the recipe...?
Thanks for the encouragement sweets! love ya loads ya know! I had the best birthday in a long time! Made turning 38 again so joyful! Maybe next year I'll try 37!? I think maybe next week I'll post how to make a yummy ice cream cake!
